We want you to start enjoying your YSI Membership right away! After joining the YSI Nature Network, you’ll receive a membership confirmation email with information about your membership level and instructions for accessing your benefits.

Most YSI Membership benefits become available as soon as your membership is activated.
Your welcome email will include your YSI Member discount information, including how to receive:

🦋 Animal Advocate & Animal Guardian — Behind-the-Scenes Animal Care Experience
Monthly Animal Advocate and Animal Guardian members become eligible for their behind-the-scenes Animal Care Experience after 6 consecutive months of active membership. Once eligible, YSI will contact you with information about arranging your experience at YSI Alum Rock.
🦉 Animal Guardian — YSI Branded Member Gift
Monthly Animal Guardian members become eligible to select their YSI branded member gift after 6 consecutive months of active membership. YSI will contact you when it’s time to select your gift.
Paying Annually?
Members who make their full annual membership payment upfront do not need to complete the six-month waiting period for these benefits.
Eligible experiences and gifts can begin being arranged following enrollment and membership processing.
All other applicable membership benefits begin when your membership is activated unless otherwise noted.

Keep an eye on your inbox! Throughout the year, YSI will contact Nature Network members with Animal Ambassador updates, special opportunities, event information, Summer Camp registration details, and instructions for accessing benefits associated with your membership level.
Your membership keeps you connected to YSI while helping us provide hands-on science and nature education and exceptional care for our Animal Ambassadors throughout the year.
Membership Payments, Renewals & Cancellations
Your YSI Nature Network membership begins when your first successful payment is received. Monthly memberships remain active while recurring payments continue, and annual memberships remain active for 12 months from the payment date.
If a monthly payment is unsuccessful, your membership will enter a 14-day grace period. During this time, you may update your payment information without losing your original membership start date. Benefits requiring consecutive months of membership will be placed on hold until payment is resolved.
Monthly memberships may be cancelled at any time and will remain active through the end of the current paid membership period. Annual members will receive renewal reminders before their membership expires. Membership payments are generally nonrefundable once processed, except in cases of duplicate charges, processing errors, or circumstances approved by YSI.
Membership benefits have no cash value, are subject to availability, and cannot be combined with other discounts unless otherwise stated.
